"He is a transformational figure, he is a new generation coming onto the world stage."

I'm not usually one to blog about politics, but I thought this was an interesting turn of events in this election. Colin Powell, a Republican and former Secretary of State under George W. Bush, as well as a long-time friend of John McCain, endorsed Obama this morning on Meet the Press. The video is worth a watch if you have a minute.

  2. I agree he has charisma, but Obama has zero leadership experience. I am sorry editor of the school paper, Professor of Law, and serving in your state senate is enough experience to be a first termsenator, but President...come on. To me that is a stretch. He started to run for President 2 years after being in the senate, and he has not even finished his first term. His Washington leadership experience is being the chair of a subcommitte which subcommitte has been defunct. So basically his real polictical leadership is running his own campaign. He has done an amazing job running that, but does that make him capable of being President. I am very skeptical, but thanks for posting that, it was very fascinating.
